The Cherry Blossom Promise

Like the cherry blossom, I believe that my fertility is a priceless gift, one of unsurpassing beauty, a gift that deserves to be respected, reverenced, cherished, and protected.

I believe that my fertility is the deepest part of me and defines who I am, created female in the image and likeness of God.

I believe that it is only in accepting and embracing my fertility that I will be able to make a sincere gift of self and someday give myself wholly and completely to my spouse in marriage.

Through my fertility, I believe that I hold both a great gift and a great responsibility—the power to bring forth new life—and look forward someday to receiving the blessings that come with welcoming new life into the world.

Because I believe these things . . .

I will never put anything into my body that will harm my fertility or cause harm to my reproductive system.

I will never put anything into my body that will harm my unborn baby.

I will never put anything into my body that will harm my relationship with my spouse.

I will never put anything into my body that will harm my relationship with God.

I promise to never use hormonal contraception, barriers, or have a tubal ligation!

I will learn to live with my fertility, to cooperate and work with it to achieve my goals and plan my family naturally; rather than to fear it, suppress it, and stop it from doing what it was created to do.

I will embrace the design of my female body.  I will allow my fertility to live and thrive within me; to function as a normal and healthy process.

I will fully embrace my femininity and view my fertility as a gift, rather than as a burden.

I will unlock the mystery of my fertility.  I will learn to speak the language of my body, to listen to what my body has to tell me, and to cooperate with my menstrual cycle to effectively plan my family.

I’m Ready . . . to love more deeply . . . to share more intimately . . . to   communicate more effectively.  I am ready to be in true control!

I Embrace Natural Family Planning
