The Cherry Blossom Promise
I deserve to know the truth about my fertility! I believe that every woman has the right to understand the way her body works and what a healthy cycle looks like.
I am ready for a different way . . . a better way to plan my family. I’m ready . . . to trust my body, to unlock the mysteries of my fertility . . . to believe in the design and power of my femininity . . . I’m ready . . . for freedom from fear . . . for health . . . for the power of knowledge.
Like the cherry blossom, I believe that my fertility is a priceless gift, one of unsurpassing beauty, and that it deserves to be respected, reverenced, cherished, and protected. I believe in myself, in my unique abilities as a woman, and in my ability to work with my spouse to plan my family naturally.
I believe that my fertility is not a burden, that it does not stand in the way of my happiness or my success in life. I believe that my fertility does not hinder me from pursuing my dreams or reaching my goals. I believe that I can understand my fertility, that I do not have to fear it. I believe that my fertility is not the “problem,” but rather, that it is the answer. And I believe, that it is in learning how to live with my fertility, rather than to suppress my fertility, that I will achieve my full potential.
I believe that women deserve to know the truth about contraceptives and how they affect their bodies . . . I believe that my fertility does not need to be controlled, to be turned off, or even eliminated. I believe that couples deserve a method of family planning that is healthy for the body, one that enables them to effectively plan their families without drugs or devices.
I believe that the keys to understanding my fertility are written in my body, that a woman does not NEED contraception. I believe that within the beautiful and unique way that woman was created, the feminine design, that every woman possesses what she needs to effectively plan her family.
I believe in the design of my femininity—I believe in the ability of my body to teach me how to cooperate with my menstrual cycle to effectively plan my family. I believe in the power of my femininity—I believe in my ability from within to take true control of my fertility.
I believe in a “new feminism,” one that is written in the design of the female body and empowers a woman to truly live as a woman. I believe that a woman’s fertility—the unique ability to bring forth new life—is at the very core of her femininity and defines what true womanhood is. I believe that the modern, liberated woman is one who is free to understand her femininity and fully embrace her womanhood, and that it is only in embracing herself as a woman, rather than suppressing what makes her a woman, that she will find true happiness, success, and fulfillment.
I believe that my fertility is the deepest part of me and defines who I am created as a woman. I believe that it is only in accepting and embracing my fertility that I will be able to make a sincere gift of self and give myself wholly and completely to my spouse in marriage.
And, through my fertility, I believe that I hold both a great gift and a great responsibility—the power to bring forth new life—and look forward to receiving the blessings that come with welcoming new life into the world.
Because I believe these things . . .
I will never put anything into my body that will harm my fertility or cause harm to my reproductive system.
I will never put anything into my body that will harm my unborn baby.
I will never put anything into my body that will harm my relationship with my spouse.
I will never put anything into my body that will harm my relationship with God.
I promise to never use hormonal contraception, barriers, or have a tubal ligation!
I will learn to live with my fertility, to cooperate and work with it to achieve my goals and plan my family naturally; rather than to fear it, suppress it, and stop it from doing what it was created to do.
I will embrace the design of my female body. I will allow my fertility to live and thrive within me; to function as a normal and healthy process.
I will fully embrace my femininity and view my fertility as a gift, rather than as a burden.
I will unlock the mystery of my fertility. I will learn to speak the language of my body, to listen to what my body has to tell me, and to cooperate with my menstrual cycle to effectively plan my family.
I’m Ready . . . to love more deeply . . . to share more intimately . . . to communicate more effectively. I am ready to be in control!
I Embrace Natural Family Planning
